How Can You Help

A Call To Give

In Christian communities, there's a common saying that 20% of individuals carry out 80% of the work. Yet, in the nonprofit realm, we depend on the collective effort of all, recognizing that the majority—80%—contribute both in action and support.

In my studies of nonprofit management, I have learned a lot about fundraising. Before the course, I assumed that applying to grants was a simple process that would reap bountiful rewards. However, the reality is not so simple. I have learned that community fundraising is vital to the success of nonprofit organizations. Community or grassroots fundraising is about getting those around us most excited about the work we want to accomplish.

My prayer is that if you are here, reading this post, that you are excited about the work we are doing. If that’s true, then Cornerstone wants to encourage and empower you to give. Whether you give through prayer, volunteering your time, or monetarily through our donate page, we want you to be a part of our community.

Together, let’s mend, strengthen, and build the lives of the least of these.Thank you for considering how you can contribute to our mission.
